Web Presence

Your data will be processed on leopold-communications.com for the following purposes:

Session cookies, which are necessary for the operation of the website. These cannot be deactivated (legitimate interest within the meaning of GDPR Art. 17 Para. 1 lit a)
IP address and metadata which are logged during the operation of the website. This only happens on occasion to maintain the smooth operation of the site (Art. 6 lit. f GDPR).
Tracking cookies to improve the web experience. These are only activated if you agree to the use of cookies when visiting the website.
Data for the company portal, which can be reached via login. Data is only processed here as part of the creation and use of your user account.

Other Electronic Data Interchange

For other data traffic such as e-mail or source code management, I process the data provided by you that is required for the performance of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data I can not conclude a contract with you or handle a project.

Storage Duration

As soon as you contact me, e.g. by e-mail, I will save the data you have provided for the purpose of processing request and in case of follow-up questions. (GDPR Art. 17 Para. 1 lit a)
I also save your data during the contract preparation phase. (GDPR Art. 17 Para. 1 lit b)
For ongoing and completed projects, I keep the project-related data in the interest of my clients.
If there is no legal obligation to store your data for a longer period of time, I will keep your data for three years up.

Data Transfer to Third Parties

For the website and other electronic data traffic, I use a hosting provider as processor. For this purpose, your data (including IP address, access times and metadata of web browser and other system properties) is handed over or logged by the processor.

Furthermore, this website contains links to externally hosted images, e.g. the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (wko.at).
Your data will be forwarded to them as part of the website. If these images are located in third countries, I pay attention to compliance with data protection. In doing so, I check whether the country of the regulation of the GDPR or one subject to relevant agreements. If not, I check whether the respective provider is committed has to maintain the European level of data protection, e.g. through corresponding standard contractual clauses.

In all other cases and unless legally required, I will only pass on your data with your express consent.

Your Rights

You are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in some way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
